What it does

"Randomises the numeric values of modifiers on an item." The modifiers stay the same; only their values move within each modifier's range. That includes implicit modifiers, which is why Omen of the Blessed exists: it limits the next Divine Orb to implicits only.

How players use it

A Divine Orb is how a finished item gets pushed toward its best rolls. Grinding Gear Games' patch notes also regularly tell players to use one to bring an older unique up to its new balance values after a change.

New in 0.5

Patch 0.5.0 made Divine Orbs more common. Omen of Sanctification makes the next Divine Orb used on a rare item Sanctify it instead.
